Beautiful resort in need of some sprucing up.

Large, comfortable room. Very lush and beautiful gardens. Helpful staff. Location in lovely countryside but still close to Chiang Mai city.

Noisy, mouldy aircon and a dirty pool. Everywhere is a bit tired and in need of some attention. Was in a room by the service entrance and neighbour's building site.

Beautiful jungle like gardens. Comfy bed.

Need some fresh paint. The air in the room was very moist. You can see it's a beautiful resort but it was a bit deserted. Maybe it was because of the low season.

Actually we really like the design of the hotel. The lobby, the garden and the room are very nice.All staff we found upon checking in and at the restaurant are very polite and friendly.

The clean of the hotel is the problem that should be focused urgently. We found the bed sheet with some stain and the bottom of shower curtain was so dirty. Moreover, the outside area to the restaurant need more paying attention as there were many leaves on the pathway and in the pond.

Great hideaway property inside the forest

location 20 minutes away from the city, inside green forest and interesting hotel architecture. peaceful and unique.

place a bit run down due to closure from Covid. management working on repairs and refurbishing. it will take some time but it is a good property.

Enjoyable stay

Resort was located in the middle of jungle and close to Wat Phra That Doi Kham

Room did not resemble photos on the website. When I was staying there, all resources and staff seemmingly focused on serving group booking rather than individual one. There were few restaurant options around the resort.

it’s in the middle of nature and it’s got a cool temple up the mountain nearby where you can hike up to or take a taxi. we felt we were the only guests around, and really appreciated the peace and quiet here. we were passing by and staying here for one night only so it was OK but I reckon I’d struggle a little if I were staying any longer. the receptionist was super lovely and helpful.

if you stay here you gotta understand that it’s an old resort rather outdated and a little hijacked by the surrounding nature. it’s got a lot of humidity so with the rooms being closed for a long time, there’s a really strong smell inside them. kind of mouldy and not very adequate for those suffering from bronchitis, asthma or allergies. The hotel breakfast was quite minimal and the least nice in Thailand so far but no biggie.

Yes.....great nature...great place...great breakfast...and super kind and pleasant staff...on time shuttles...will probably return next year if,,,,,

too much noise...lots of kids..by our room they were up early at 5Am and became noisy and wild....lost sleep. suggestion...separate the kid families into one area away from us nice traveling couples....allowing us some piece and quiet.....................many thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,,John \ Oregon usa

The ambience, the room, and the very nice staff.

Breakfast mostly. There are a lot of options but many are mediocre and often cold when they should be hot which does not help. Would prefer higher quality preparation for breakfast even at the expense of less options.

Ressort is a very beautiful place.

General: very much focused on Chinese customer, meal/drinks had to be payed at the same time - writing on room was not possible, nobody at pool area to distribute towels or serve drinks Breakfast: not so fresh, service was not really present to get warm eggs cooked, quality rather on lower side Rooms: very noisy

The staff were really nice.

The staff were really nice. Breakfast was very good. The room is clean and comfortable.

The party area is too close to the room so the noise was very loud and disturbing. The location is quite far from the city and the airport but still okay if using car rental.

The hotel is truly in the woods, the property was quiet and...

The hotel is truly in the woods, the property was quiet and serene and very relaxing. There was a plenty of open space for our boys to run around the pool was clean. The food was amazing! Breakfast was great! We ate dinner there in the open air restaurant most nights. The staff was friendly and tried to help the best they could always making sure we were comfortable with our stay. Ton one of the men at the front desk was amazing! He helped us with finding something to do and calling a cab to get us to our destinations. He really made our trip easier with the place being so far out. You are close to the Night Safari and one of the temples Wat Phra That Doi Kham. We had wonderful waitresses in the restaurant too. My husband had a great massage. The property and rooms we had were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

One thing I didn’t like was that there weren’t actual locks on the outside to the doors for our villa. There was a padlock on both entrances. The bathroom had ants and a few bugs which made my boys uneasy. It’s in the woods I wouldn’t expect it to be bug free. There were small gaps at the bottom of door which probably allowed a gecko or two to enter my room which was a separate entrance than the rest my family. It they would be nice to seal some of the crevices and use bug deterrent. There was mold on one of the walls in our room which made it have a slight old smell but other than that the rooms were well kept and cleaned everyday. There just needs to be some minor maintenance issues to make the place better like sweeping the leaves off the rooftops and fixing some of the broken concrete stairs then this place would be great!

A few things need to fix

When check out they order lemon tea it was really nice. Hotel location far from city but it is ok for slience.

Breakfast was not for all religions. Didn't like the plug system. Before check out they already put metress into the room. And although we tell not to clean room they clean our room.

Nice rural setting but be prepared for rowdy Chinese tour groups.

The hotel is at the edge of town near Wat Doi Kham and is very rural and pretty. All the staff except the female who checked us in were very nice.

The female staff who checked us in gave us an old room that was far inferior to the one described in booking.com. We complained the next day and received a newer room that matched the description on the website, but it had a plumbing problem and smelled very bad during the night. The hotel seems to be mostly booking Chinese tour groups and these guests can be very noisy and inconsiderate (eg hanging laundry all over the property and yelling loudly at all times of the day and night).

The staff is exceptional- I really appreciate Ton at the front desk- he helped solve a lot of travel dilemmas and scheduling. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family- it’s a gem!

Ton was super helpful and his English was great! He helped us make accommodations to the airport and into the city when there wasn’t a shuttle. The resort was beautiful and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants the bustle of chaing mai but the beauty of the jungle
